As always, an excellent demo. At
Thank you very much for the video. Very instructive!
By the way, what would a 2-1-1 post beep code mean? Maybe the flash drive?
I can't find a proper beep code guide for this model.
nice video, i got a few of these cheap on ebay and had to replace the SSD's, the original dell ones always seem to die, replaced them with 32 gig drives and am using linux mint for the OS
Nice video! Can you tell me what screw-driver you were using as I really get tired using my wrist!
Hi quick question, first of all great video. To change the cover lid i am assuming you have to go through dismantling the whole lot right!!!!!
thanks for posting i needed to replaced the keyboard
Can I change the CMOS battery without disassembling the whole laptop?
thanks for the tear down was going to replace paste on it but it has none so no need to
where does those 2 big white and black cables go to that were plugged into the screen?
very good!!!
Thank you!
I've had this little laptop in the corner for about 2 years.... I just plugged it in today and it isn't lighting up at all. Do you know what could possibly be wrong with that. I've tried 2 different chargers and I get nothing..... any possible fix?
Hi,
try to start it without battery, remove a battery, plug in to power source. Will it start like that?
"PXE-E61: Media test failure, check cable; PXE-M0F: Exiting PXE ROM; Operating System not found"
Any idea what this error message means?
I am getting this error on my mini 910......even after an SSD swap, but after the swap, at least the SSD is recognized on the Bios screen. Will it go away once I reload Windows XP?
good job
Replaced the ssd and removed the wireless and 3g cards.....got it to reboot to the external cd-rom. Loaded Windows and re-installed wireless card.....All is good. Thanks for the follow-up.
With the new drive in place, the bios reads the new drive brand and recognizes the volume of 16gb....I think once I get XP reloaded onto the new drive, maybe it will fix itself?! Just guessing....
If you dont mind me asking,"how do you corrupt a systems bios?"
i like to have a small magnet to hold all my screws..
WiFi antenna cables need to be connected to WiFi card. At the start of this video on the right top corner you can see a video where at some point you will se how to unplug or plug it back (wifi wires)
I need to change the CMOS battery. Could you tell me where it it please.
