The Lankai LKTC B1-T controller does 0-99.9 decrees Celsius. The THERMISTOR that it uses is a 50K MF58 type (eBay, no problem), so if you want to do as I did, you can replace this with a Berme (not the cheaper ones...) PID controller from eBay to give you better control with a greater range. I used my Lankai controller form this Xinbao stirrer to control the temperature on a water distiller so that other solvents, such as ethanol, do not boil away too quickly.

Thanks just trying to figure mine out now all instructions were in Chinese. Check the Instructions below they are very complicated and unclear, you may save yourself a lot of angst by buying a better one.  If you have Temp Surging make sure "P" setting is at 10. You don't need this for small amounts of Final process in THC making, just sit the beaker on the bench and the Alcohol will evaporate in a few hours.

I think in the end it is better to budget 800 dollars and buy a high quality unit, when doing experiments you really want to make sure you have no issues with the stirrer/hotplate. I ordered a Thermo Supernouva+ it should provide years of good service.

Hello, I wonder if you would make another video of the Magnetic Stirrer if you have learned to use some of the additional features. I seem to get nowhere adjusting temperature; it reverts back. There must be a simple mode I am missing. Thank you

This is more like a first look. I bought this too and it keeps heating above the set temperature I set it to. But the included instructions do not describe clearly describe any of the 5 other features other than setting the temperature cutoff. Someone on the amazon product page said:

Hi dr. Noob, how did you get the temperature to stop rising after the temperature was set. Mine keeps rising and I’m not sure why.

Please show how you set the hotplate at a certain low temp., for example at warming temperature for olive oil, and stay at that temperature for hours, or for days. The literature provided for that unit has very confusing instructions that it spoiled my experiments.

Were you able to regulate the temperature with this? I have one that won't keep liquid at the set temperature - it just continues heating..

So this is not a good unit for small batches of oils huh? does the heat plate ever exceed 100 C? The only problem i could see for me is that i boil my ouls that start from like a qt down to a few cc's. So if it never goes ober the 100 C range its not a huge deal i can watch it. However if it does go over i can see it burning some oils. So the temp probe has to be set in pretty deep?

Have you found a way to control temperature??? I have found the the control unit works well, however the hot plate hold the heat and keeps heating solution. But the power has shut down at the requried heat. I will look at a differnt heating pad.

Wenn ich den Akzent richtig deute sind sie deutsch? Würden sie mir evtl ganz kurz und knapp erklären wie das Gerät eingestellt wird? Habe es für liquids gekauft aber es heizt unaufhaltsam und ich habe keine Anleitung.. Vielen lieben Dank im vorraus

Only consider buying this if you're interested in limiting your work to 100 Centigrade . Does not work over 100 .

I have one of these and the instructions make no sense whatsoever. The translation is appalling.
